This page tells you why remote control is not working in production (PHP, permissions, API paths).

/remote-control/api/health.php returns ok:true with no errors.
Creating a session returns code, session_id, tv_token.
On TV open /remote-control/tv/, pair on phone at /remote-control/, buttons work.
